I don't know why, but I felt the need to try a new brownie recipe. I'm looking for rich, chewy goodness, not the cakey kind.
A combination of semi sweet chocolate chips and leftover easter bunny to make 6 ounces
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 capful pure vanilla extract
1 dash of salt
1 cup flour

1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 capful pure vanilla extract
1 dash of salt
1 cup flour
Line a square glass pan with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate and butter together in the top of a double boiler, stirring frequently. Let cool to warm.
Beat eggs with sugar until blended and frothy. Add cocoa powder, vanilla and salt and stir until well combined. Add the chocolate mixture and keep whisking until thoroughly combined, then add the flour and keep mixing until the mixture is incorporated. No white streaks should remain.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake at 350F for about half an hour.
THESE BROWNIES ARE FANTASTIC!
