Quick Pickles

Onions, jalapenos

 

Red Onion (or shallot)

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1 Tbsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Boil.

Slice one red onion and place in a glass jar.  Let the jar sit until it comes to room temp then store in the fridge.


jalapenos

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic smashed
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 7-8 jalapeno peppers thinly sliced
same method as red onion
