300g Pork Fillet
3 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
3 Cloves Garlic
5g Ginger
1 Red Chilli
½ Tsp Star Anise Powder
1 Tbsp Tomato Purée
1 Red Onion
125g Green Cabbage
1 Carrot
1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
Method
1. Finely chop garlic, ginger and red chilli
2. Cut the red onion and carrot into thin slices
3. Cut cabbage into thin threads
4. Cut pork into thin strips
5. Mix together the hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, chilli, star anise and tomato purée in a mixing bowl
6. Add pork in the mixture, mix well and leave to marinate for up to 1 hour in a fridge
7. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a wok over high heat
8. Add the pork in the wok, stir and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes
9. Add the onion, cabbage and carrot, stir-fry for 2 minutes
10. Add sesame seeds and stir
11. Transfer into a dish and serve with rice
